Guests to the gala dinner will be welcomed with a champagne reception before being shown to their seats in the Grand Ballroom for a sumptuous 5 course meal with wine.  The ceremony will be hosted by stand-up commedian Barry Hilton (www.barryhilton.co.za) and a UNICEF ambassador tbc.  Previous AfricaCom Awards celebrity line-ups have included rugby champion Francois Pieenar, comedian David Kau and "Princess of Africa" Yvonne Chaka Chaka.

Dress code: Lounge suit or national dress

You don't have to be an awards entrant to attend the gala dinner however if you are considering attending why not enter and possibly make your night even more special.
