Alcatel helps bring ‘value for money’ to HK broadband subscribers

Hong Kong  Broadband Network Ltd (HKBN) has launched a symmetric 1 Gb/s broadband service powered  by Alcatel-Lucent’s gigabit passive optical network (GPON) solution. HKBN is  the fastest growing broadband service provider in Hong Kong and the first to  provide symmetric 100 Mb/s and 1 Gb/s broadband services to Hong Kong’s  residential broadband users.
