Matthew Hayes is a Consulting Systems Engineer at Ciena specialising in Ethernet. His expertise span Ciena’s entire Ethernet product portfolio and his main focus is helping customers in EMEA design Ethernet-optimized networks across the access, metro and core as well as mobile backhaul.
Matthew joined Ciena in 2004 and has more than 16 years experience in the IT industry having worked for resellers, IT consultancies, telecom service providers and networking vendors.
Prior to joining Ciena, he spent nine years working within the reseller channel in the capacity of Pre-Sales Consultancy and has also held positions at Cisco Systems and Tiscali.
