Rafael Francis joined ECI through the acquisition of Laurel Networks in mid 2005 and was appointed AVP, Product Management in 2006. In his role, Mr Francis is responsible for the strategic direction and delivery of ECI's next-generation Carrier Ethernet product line. With over ten years of experience specializing in networking and telecommunications products, Mr Francis held director and senior-level product management positions for Laurel Networks, Marconi Ltd, and FORE Systems. He is an MBA graduate from Carnegie Mellon University and holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
