"Now in its 6th year, the LTE Asia conference has become the must attend event
of the region. Now in Singapore, the conference should attract even more
delegates from across South East Asia. 3GPP is pleased to support this event as
a place to learn and develop ideas and I am sure that Informa have done
everything possible to raise the bar still further this year.

The 2011 conference promises to be bigger than ever with over 750 attendees
expected. Over half of these attendees are expected to be from operator
companies from across the Asia-Pacific region. In-depth discussions range from
spectrum issues right through to the technology challenges that operators still
face. 3GPP will be hosting a session at the conference dedicated to the
development of standards and discussing the path to LTE Advanced and true
4G. The event is described as bringing in a “different parts of the ecosystem to
discuss the path to 4G” and we look forward to a discussion between friends on
how we can meet future challenges.

With LTE deployments taking place around the world, the conference looks
towards these operators to provide feedback to the industry to the challenge
that they faced and the significant amount of work that still needs to be done.
The conference is action packed with presentations, in-depth panel discussions,
workshops, training sessions and unparalleled networking opportunities, making
the LTE Asia truly the best place in the region to learn, network and do business.
I look forward to welcoming you to Singapore!"
