HARNESSING THE CROSS-PLATFORM OPPORTUNITY FOR MOBILE FINANCE: DRIVING USER ENGAGEMENT & MONETISATION THROUGH SEAMLESS BRAND EXPERIENCES
Led by: Jesús Gorriti, Design Director, Fjord Madrid & John Oswald, Business Design Lead, Fjord London & Rob Le Quesne, SDL, Fjord London
The financial services industry is encroached upon from all sides as other verticals increasingly try to own the customer relationship and take a portion of what was once a safe territory for financial services companies. And in developing markets there is real scope for other types of operators, be they telcos or pure play startups, to bypass what companies developed markets have long considered traditional territories. In parallel with all this, we have seen a real erosion of trust in financial service companies and a parallel uptick in more innovative, flexible models that appeal more directly to a more connected lifestyle. Institutions have been responding, but often with a simplistic approach to brand extension, developing apps to appeal to existing and new markets.
In this workshop, we'll explore the strong brand DNA that exists within long-respected financial service institutions and how that can extend into a truly seamless connected experience that inspires trust and engagement, irrespective of the touchpoint being used. This design and insight-led workshop is a must for any company wishing to improve the provision of its connected services, in innovative ways that can be easily launched, measured and continuously improved.
