Wolfgang Hemetzberger joined Telekom Austria TA AG more than 30 years ago. He worked in different positions in operation and network engineering as well as network planning, where he was responsible for the Transmission planning department. Currently he is head of the Fixed netWORK Planning Transport & Core department.
His department is responsible for the operational life cycle of the Fixed netWORK Transport & Core infrastructure of Telekom Austria TA AG. The competence starts with development and technical tests continuing with planning and engineering and ends at the phase out tasks.
His current focus area is the fusion of the fixed and the mobile transport network.
He holds an Electronics Engineer degree form the University of Applied Sciences - Campus Vienna.
