Michael is working for Nokia Siemens Networks as Strategy and Portfolio Manager for DWDM product line. One of his focus topics is 100GBit/s DWDM transmission.
Starting in 2000 Michael was with Siemens Corporate Technology as Senior Research Scientist. He worked in areas like QoS and Policy Based Networking for fixed and mobile Networks. He managed several commercial and research projects related to network infrastructure services and distributed networking. Other main topics of his work at Siemens Corporate Technology were wireless Ad-Hoc and Self-Organizing-Networks.
Michael completed a four year professional training as electronic technician, before studying at Technical University of Munich. He holds a diploma degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology.
