Rodolfo Di Muro is currently working as Optical Product Marketing Manager in Product Area IP & Broadband (BU NET) for the Optical Transport products, organizing customers workshop on optical related matters, and has been speaker at IIR events in past editions.
He started the carrier as Research granting a PhD in telecommunication in year 1995 in Parma University, and continued the activities with European Universities and Industrial collaborations.
In year 1997 he joined the Advanced Research Group of Nortel Networks in Harlow, UK, were he continued the research activity in optical components gaining manufacturing experience and transmission “system design” skills for Nortel Transmission product.
In year 2000 he joined the Marconi company in Coventry, UK, covering for six years the role of technology strategist and DWDM product strategist. The company was integrated within Ericsson business in 2005/6 where he is currently working in Ericsson, Italy.
He has covered the role of IPR technical consultant, and filed 18 patents and published 51 papers in technical conferences and technical journals. In 2006 granted a Master in Business Administration at Warwick’s University.
