WiMAX Forum RF Network Engineer™ Certification Boot Camp (1 - 4 June 2009)
This course is designed for engineers who have some RF background, to develop their RF engineering skills, specifically for WiMAX network design. The boot camp covers all of the necessary topics to prepare a technical student to take the WiMAX Forum RF Network Engineer™ certification exam.

WiMAX Forum Core Network Engineer™ Certification Boot Camp (1 - 4 June 2009)
This course covers all the necessary topics to prepare a technical student to take the WiMAX Forum Core Network Engineer™ certification exam. It is designed for engineers who will be implementing the core elements of a WiMAX network.

WiMAX Forum Network Designer™ Certification Boot Camp (1 - 3 June 2009)
This advanced course and certification is designed for engineers and technical staff who are knowledgeable and have some exposure to the WiMAX technology. Those with no WiMAX exposure, or that are not in a technical or engineering role, should first consider attending the WiMAX Forum RF Engineer Certification Boot Camp course as a prerequisite. This boot camp covers all of the necessary topics and steps to prepare students to take the WiMAX Forum Network Designer certification exam.

WiMAX Explained (1 - 2 June 2009)
This course introduces both technical and non-technical aspects of WiMAX to enable the delegate to fully understand how this important new technology fits into the future of wireless communications.

WiMAX and the New Era of Telecommunications (3 - 4 June 2009)
This training course explores the market conditiones for multi-play services and examines example triple-play and quad-play services offerings and the technologies which support these services. The program focuses specifically on the role that WiMAX can play in enabling delivery of the services to the end-user.

WiMAX Worldwide Compliance Services (1 June 2009)
This course provides an overview of the WiMAX Forum’s Regulatory Working Group (RWG) objectives and activities. Additionally, the course covers the primary regulatory issues for WiMAX and discusses the different types of approval processes. It provides in-depth content on country-specific requirements including the existing approval process; the allocated frequency spectrum for WiMAX with discussion on the current situation and expected changes; test requirements; and a full review of licensing information.

Mobile WiMAX Certification Testing (2 June 2009)
This course covers the WiMAX Forum certification process with a focus reviewing the Certification Program Reference Manual (CPRM); MAC and PHY layer characteristics from the IEEE 802.16e-2005 standard; and certification requirements and Test Specifications documents. Additionally, students will learn about the test setup, testing procedures, and relevant test cases analysis of Protocol Conformance Testing (PCT); Radio Conformance Testing (RCT); and Interoperability Testing (IOT).
